Thyme is that “missing ingredient” when you taste-test your soup, stew or chowder. A pinch or two added shortly before cooking is complete will take your dish from good to WOW.

Thyme is easy to grow if you tend to its needs. That means full sun and not too much water. It grows happily in Zone 4a through 8b. It can be grown in the higher zones, too, but you really have to watch the water! Too much water, whether it be rain or your garden hose, is deadly. Make very sure it has dependable drainage.
